COVID 19: Who Was Fooling CrossRiverians? Ayade Or NMA?

NCDC recently published that Cross River State has recorded five cases of the dreaded COVID 19 for the first time since the outbreak  of the pandemic. The NCDC announced that the total confirmed cases in the country has risen to 29286 with 11828 discharged and 654 deaths.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country is not the emphasis. What is however worrisome is the sudden acceptance by the Cross River State Government that state now has positive cased after several denials and insistence that the state was free of the pandemic, putting several Cross Riverians at risk.
There have been several deaths in the state traceable to the infection but the state in efforts to prove to Cross Riverians that the Government was active in protecting them and in direct opposition to reports from the Nigerian medical association had insisted that Cross River State was free until this morning.

The question now is, who was deceiving Cross Riverians that the state was free from the virus when it was not? Who was fooling the people? The Governor or the leadership of the Nigerian Medical Association?

I will allow you to answer this question?
