C'River State Pharmacuetical Company LTD Takes Delivery Of Ultramodern Production Equipments

The Cross River State Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.(Calapharm), has today the 25th day of June 2020, taken delivery of some state of the art production equipments.

These consignments according to the Commissioner for Industry, Hon. Peter Egba, were purchased from India (GMP TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LTD.), which happens to be Indian number one manufacturers of  cleanrooms systems and processes, Pharmaceutical industry, machinery and equipments. A world class WHO certified standard manufacturer. The shipment as stated by the commissioner was long due for delivery but was forestalled in transit because of the Covid-19 induced interstate travel ban.

Senior Special Assistant to His Excellency on Calapharm, Esuong Uwase, after supervising the delivery process said in a brief interview session, that a total of twenty three (23) containers are en route to the famous Ayade Industrial Park, where Calapharm is situated. Mr Uwase extensively commended the efforts of His Excellency, Sen. prof. Sir. Ben Ayade, for his gargantuan vision of globalizing the standards of  Calapharm, for which reason, representatives of the WHO, NAFDAC and other standards verifying institutions have visited the Calabar Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. to facilitate a world class production. The SSA on Calapharm further asserted that the Pharmaceutical company will see to the employment of almost five hundred (500) eligible persons, cutting across different fields of both medical and non medical related disciplines.

Also present was the director of Pharmacist, Pst. Daniel Michael. The Pharmacist who took newsmen on a facility tour said Calapaharm is a Pharmaceutical Company whose primary focus will be the production of drugs, including tablets, syrups and capsules, creams, ointments, eye drops, ear drops, multivitamins, antihypertensives among others.

Pst. Michael in furtherance said, that the only obstacle confronting the Calabar Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. is the international and interstate travel ban, which upon collapsing, will leave posterity to tell the tale of the Calabar Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. achievements.

There was visible elation in the mood of all who were present including the adhoc staff, one of which described the governor as the best thing that ever happened to Cross River State.
