The event was well attended as it drew many party faithfuls across other sister wards.

The chiefs, women youths and  all ward leaders were in attendance

The executive chairman of Obubra LGA Dr. Bassey Agara Tom was highly represented by the deputy leader of Obubra legislature Hon. Peter Okey.

The chairman in his speech admonished the chiefs, women and youths to promote love and peaceful coexistence among themselves as people from same origin, cultural background and same values.

He stressed that henceforth any community caught fermenting war,  creating disunity, sponsoring restiveness, breaking of laws and orders among others; chiefs and leaders of such communities will be  prosecuted accordingly.

Other Dignitaries in the event who gave good will messages in the event includes  The PDP chapter chairman Hon.Denis Egor, Dr. Cletus Omono  Bar.Wilson Ajogbor, Hon.George Obasse, Mr Okpa Agara,  Hon.Odorji Agara the chief Host etc.

Highlights of the event were the reception of  about 5000 APC members who saw the need to return to their original political platform(PDP). The decamped members of the APC were led by the former APC chapter treasurer Mrs Ruth Bassey Oden. A very active political woman gladiator in ofodua ward.

They were received by the ward chairman, Hon. Macbeth Oyama who handed them over to the chapter chairman and the entire leadership of PDP who were present in the event.

We thank the Lord for successful political gathering
