Sequel to the inauguration of the Cross River State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) by His Excellency, Sen. (Prof.) Ben Ayade, a fortnight ago, the board earlier today embarked on a one-day management retreat following their commitment to hit the ground running.

Declaring the retreat open on behalf of the CRS Governor, the Commissioner for International Development Cooperation, Dr. Inyang Asibong, goaded the agency not to rest on its oars until development is stretched to the length and breadth of State; their inaugural mandate.

The chairman of the Agency, Mr. Tony Ikpeme, was full of appreciation to the State Government and hinted on the importance of the management retreat as a means of cultivating expertise for the overall benefit of the State

The Ag. GM of the Agency, Mr Fidel Udie seized the opportunity to highlight the various achievements of the Agency in ensuring the ease of livelihood across the State through pockets of developmental projects across the State fitted with global best practices.”

The event witnessed array of activities and the presentation of developmental strategies by the board members to ensure the State maintains its status quo of being in the right path for development as described by World Bank.
